Start your journey

Congratulations on taking your first steps towards your transformation. Tell me a little bit about you before we begin...

1. Purpose of this agreement

1.1. This agreement explains how the Therapist will provide therapy services to the Patient.

1.2. The aim is to create a safe, clear, and professional working relationship.

1.3. The Therapist will provide therapy, counselling, or psychological support based on their qualifications and experience.

1.4. The type of service will be agreed when the Patient books a trial session.

1.5. Therapy sessions will begin after the Patient has paid for the trial session.

1.6. Both parties can agree to schedule, reschedule, or cancel sessions.

2. What each party confirms

2.1. The Therapist confirms that:

  • They have, or are working towards, the training needed to provide therapy

  • Their qualifications and experience are accurate

  • They follow professional ethical standards

2.2. The Patient understands that:

  • Therapy is a joint effort and requires commitment

  • Follow-up sessions depend on individual needs

  • Therapy may help, but results cannot be guaranteed

  • Therapy does not include medical treatment or medication

3. Fees and payment

3.1. Fees
Each session costs 50 USD per 60 minutes (60 USD for couples). Payment must be made in advance unless agreed otherwise.

3.2. Payment timing
Payment must be made via bank transfer at least 24 hours before the session.

3.3. Late or missing payment
If payment is not received at least 24 hours before the session, the session is treated as cancelled and may be given to another client.

3.4. Cancelling or rescheduling
The Patient can cancel or reschedule for free if they give at least 24 hours’ notice.

3.5. Late cancellation or no-show
If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, or the Patient does not attend, the full session fee will be charged.

3.6. If the Therapist cancels
The Patient will be offered a new appointment or a full refund within 3 days.

3.7. Changes to fees
The Therapist may change session fees but will give reasonable notice in advance.

4. Confidentiality and ethics

4.1. Confidentiality

  • Everything discussed in sessions is confidential

  • Information may be shared only if:

    • There is a risk of serious harm to the Patient or others

    • The law requires it

    • The Patient gives written consent

With consent, the Therapist may also discuss the case (without identifying details) in supervision to improve the quality of care.

4.2. Professional standards

  • The Therapist follows professional ethical guidelines

  • Both parties agree to keep this agreement confidential unless disclosure is required by law or to professional advisers

5. Duration and ending the agreement

5.1. This agreement starts when the trial session is purchased.

5.2. It will end if either party becomes unreachable or stops engaging.

6. Liability

6.1. The Therapist is responsible only for harm caused by intentional actions or serious negligence. Any liability is limited to the amount paid by the Patient in the last 3 months.

6.2. Changes to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. If any part is invalid, the rest of the agreement will still apply.

6.3. Neither party can transfer this agreement to someone else without written consent, unless the law allows it.

6.4. If something is not covered in this agreement, the parties will follow the law and standard professional practice.
